Three adults have died this afternoon (Sunday, 16 October 2022) with another two transported to hospital following a two-car collision on Coppins Crossing Road, Whitlam.  

About 2.45pm ACT Policing and emergency services received reports of the collision just south of Hazel Hawke Avenue.  

The three victims were passengers in a red Toyota hatchback with the driver of the hatchback and the driver of a white Toyota van, transported to hospital.  

At this stage, an investigation is underway, and a report is being prepared for the coroner.  

These three deaths bring the ACT road toll for 2022 to 17.  

ACT Policing urges all road users to slow down and drive to the conditions.
