One person has been transported to hospital following a collision with a bus in Acton this morning.

At about 6.30am, ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a pedestrian incident on Commonwealth Avenue.

The person was treated at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Two of three lanes on Commonwealth Avenue were closed for most of the morning as police from ACT Policing’s Major Collison Team investigated the scene.

Investigations are ongoing and anyone who witnessed the collision or has any dashcam is asked to contact crime stoppers on 1800 333 000.
