The rider of an electric scooter rider is in a critical condition following a collision with a car in Melba last night.

At about 6.30pm, ACT Emergency Services were called to a collision between a car and an electric scooter rider on Alfred Hill Drive (near Linger Place) in Melba.

The rider suffered significant injuries and was treated at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics before they were transported to hospital in a critical condition.

Alfred Hill Drive was closed for several hours while Police from ACT Policing’s Major Collision team investigated the scene.
