Four people have been rescued following a crash in Narrabundah this afternoon.

At approximately 1.40pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident on Goyder Street.

Upon arrival they located a vehicle in a creek wedged in between trees with four persons trapped.

Firefighters worked for nearly 2 hours to rescue all persons trapped inside the vehicle before they were transported to hospital.

ACT Policing's Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team were on scene investigating the cause of the crash.
