ACT Policing have arrested a 32 year old Ngunnawal man following the alleged indecent assault of a 9 year old girl in March 2019.

Police will allege that on Sunday 31st March 2019 at 11.30am a man approached a child who was walking through the underpass of Ratcliffe Crescent at the rear of Florey shops and committed an act of indecency on her.

The ACT Sexual Assault and Child Abuse team arrested the man at his residence this morning following extensive investigations.

He has since been charged with one count of act of indecency on a person under the age of 10 years.
