ACT Policing are investigating a suspicious fire that occurred in Greenway early this morning.

Just before 4am ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a structure fire on Ellison Harvie Close.

Upon arrival firefighters located a working fire inside the two-storey partially constructed building, Firefighters quickly made entry to the rear of the building and extinguished the fire. 

An ACT Policing Spokesperson said police are treating the fire as suspicious and the circumstances surrounding the fire are now being investigated by ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations.

Police are seeking any information about the fire, including witnesses, CCTV or dash-cam footage of any suspicious activity in the area.
