ACT Policing are investigating a crash in Yarralumla this evening.

At approximately 7.30pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a car off a bridge on Alexandrina Drive.

The driver was assisted from the vehicle by emergency services and transported to hospital for observation.

The Environmental Protection authority along with ACT Roads have installed bunding to prevent any spills leaking into Lake Burely Griffin.

Police are investigating if alcohol is a factor in the crash.
