A man is in a serious condition following a crash in Aranda this afternoon.

At approximately 1pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash on Belconnen Way.

ACT Fire and Rescue personal used hydraulic tools to assist in the removal of one person from the vehicle.

Another person was assessed by ACT Ambulance Paramedics and transported to hospital in a stable condition.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the collision, and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision. Police would also like to speak to anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the Corolla in the minutes prior to the collision as it travelled west from the City towards Aranda.
