The driver of a taxi has escaped uninjured following a crash in Charnwood early this morning.

Just before 7.30am ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a vehicle crash at the Service Station at the intersection of Charnwood Place and Lhotsky Street.

ACT Fire and Rescue made the area safe and ensured the vehicle did not fall off the ledge.

The vehicle was towed a short time later.

There were no reports of any serious injuries.
