ACT Policing are investigating a fatal crash on the Monaro Highway in Hume this morning.

At about 1.20am ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a two car crash.

Despite the best efforts of all emergency services a 19-year-old male passed away at the scene.

The other driver involved in the crash was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

ACT Policing's major collision investigation team are investigating the cause of the crash.

The man is the fourth person to die on ACT roads in 2021.
