A female cyclist has been transported to hospital following a crash in Phillip this afternoon.

At approximately 4.20pm ACT Ambulance Service responded to reports of a crash involving a cyclist at the intersection of Melrose Drive and Parramatta Street.

ACT Ambulance Service assessed a female patient at the scene, and she was transported to hospital with suspected lower limb injuries.

ACT Policing were in attendance and are investigating.
