Two people have been transported to hospital following a crash in Kambah this morning.

 Just before 9am ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a two-car crash at the intersection of Drakeford Drive and Summerland Circuit

Firefighters worked to extricate one person from their vehicle and ACT Ambulance Service paramedics assessed and transported two patients to hospital.

Two southbound lanes on Drakeford drive were closed for more then an hour causing heaving traffic in the area.

ACT Policing is investigating the cause of the crash.
