Over 10,000 people march to parliament house to protest an end to mandates

More than 10,000 people have descended on Canberra as they protest an end to Covid-19 mandates.

Protests have been ongoing for over 2 weeks with a large campsite established at EPIC.

Police were called by security to Exhibition Park last night after protesters removed barricades and set up tents inside an area fenced off for the Lifeline bookfair.

Traffic disruptions remain an ongoing issue in the area of EPIC and through Northbourne avenue out into the Parliamentary Triangle.

The majority of the protesters remained peaceful however one person was arrested for driving offences and a further 2 persons for breach of the peace.
