A man has been rescued following a two car crash in Braddon this morning.

At approximately 7.45am ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a persons trapped crash at the intersection of Ainslie Avenue and Gooreen Street.

One person was assisted from the vehicle by firefighters after he became stuck inside.

ACT Ambulance Service Paramedics assessed persons involved but there were no serious injuries.

The road was closed for about an hour until the scene was cleared.

ACT Policing are investigating the cause of the crash.
