The driver of a truck has escaped serious injury following a rollover on Majura Parkway early this morning.

Just after 2am, ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a truck rollover in the southbound lanes of the Majura Parkway near the Ikea exit.

ACT Ambulance Service paramedics assessed the driver at the scene but they did not require transport to hospital.

ACT Fire and Rescue remained with the truck for several hours containing a fuel spill from the truck.

One lane remained closed on the Majura Parkway throughout the morning while the truck was recovered.

ACT Policing are investigating the collision.
