At least 40 children aboard a bus were uninjured following a collision involving three other vehicles in Ainslie this morning.

ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Limestone Avenue and Ainslie Avenue at about 8.30am.

A number of people were assessed at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service Paramedics but no one required transport to hospital.

The children were assessed and safely moved to another bus to continue onto school.

ACT Policing are investigating the cause of the crash.
