A vehicle has plowed into the front of a Lyneham home this afternoon.

At approximately 2.30pm ACT Policing and ACT Ambulance Service responded to reports of a car into a house in Duterrau Crescent.

Witnesses stated that they saw a person collapse on the front lawn of the home shortly after a loud bang was heard.

ACT Fire and Rescue were called to the scene shortly after to assess the building for any structural damage and ensure there were no fluid leaks from the vehicle.

ACT Ambulance Service Paramedics assessed one person at the scene.

The road was closed for a short time while emergency crews attended the scene.
