Firefighters have extinguished a house fire in Isabella Plains this evening.

At approximately 5.20pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a house fire on Babinda Place.

Firefighters arrived to find active fire inside the home with fire spread into the roof space.

Firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire and save the home.

One occupant safely evacuated from the home before calling triple zero.

There were no reported injuries.
