One person has been transported to hospital following a crash on Mt Ainslie this afternoon.

At about 1.15pm ACT Emergency services were called to a single vehicle collision on Mount Ainslie Drive.

An ACT Policing spokesperson said one person was treated at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and was taken to hospital.

The road was closed for a number of hours while police carried out investigations.
