A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a truck in Monash this morning.

At about 11:45am ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Ashley Drive and Barraclough Crescent in Monash.

An ACT Emergency Services Agency spokesperson said that one person was assessed at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and transported to hospital in a critical condition, unfortunately the man died a short time later.

ACT Policing remained on scene investigating the cause of the crash for most of the afternoon.
