One person had to be cut from their vehicle following a crash in Yarralumla overnight.

At approximately 9.10pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Coronation Drive.

ACT Fire and Rescue used hydraulic tools to remove the door from one of the vehicles to assist in safely removing the patient into a waiting ambulance.

Two persons were transported to hospital by ACT Ambulance Service.

ACT Policing is investigating the cause of the crash.
