A pedestrian has walked away after being hit by a bus in the city this morning.

At approximately 10.30am ACT Emergency Services responded to reports that a person had being hit by a bus on Rimmer Street near Childers Street.

ACT Ambulance Service Paramedics assessed one male at the scene and he did not require transport to hospital.

ACT Policing were also in attendance.
