ACT Policing is investigating a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian overnight which left a person with serious injuries.

Just before 8.30pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a person hit by a car.

ACT Ambulance Service Paramedics treated a female at the scene and she was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

ACT Policing commenced an investigation with the assistance from the ACT Policing's Major Collision Team.
