One person was trapped in their vehicle in Watson this afternoon following a two car collision.

At approximately 6.15pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Phillip Avenue and Windeyer Street.

Upon arrival firefighters stabilized the vehicle and assisted the trapped person out through the boot of the vehicle.

ACT Ambulance Service Paramedics assessed that person at the scene for non life-threatening injuries.

ACT Policing is investigating the cause of the crash
