Three people have been transported to hospital following a crash in Latham this morning.

At approximately 11.20am ACT Emergency Services responded to the intersection of Southern Cross Drive and O’Loghlen Street.

An ACT Emergency Services spokesperson said firefighters and paramedics worked to safely extricate and assess three patients including a mother, her child and another female motorist, who were all transported to hospital in a stable condition.

The road was blocked Eastbound for more than an hour while emergency services were in attendance.

ACT Policing are investigating the collision.
