Two people have been transported to hospital following a house fire in Florey this morning 

At about 11am ACT Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a house fire on Ratcliffe Crescent.

Quick responding firefighters were able to contain the fire to the room of origin preventing any further damage to the home.

An ACT Emergency Service Spokesperson said that two people were treated at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and transported to hospital in a stable condition with smoke inhalation.

The cause the fire is still being determined and is not being treated as suspicious.

ACT Policing were also in attendance.
