A 31-year-old man has been charged with drink driving after allegedly blowing nearly 7 times the legal limit overnight.

At about 1:15am ACT Emergency Services responded to a single vehicle crash on Hindmarsh Drive.

An ACT Policing spokesperson said a 31-year-old Lyons man, failed a roadside breath test, and was subsequently taken to Woden Police Station where he returned a blood alcohol content of  0.331.

The man's licence was immediately suspended for a period of 90 days, and he is scheduled to appear before the ACT Magistrates Court on Friday, 23 July 2021 for drink driving offences.

The man was not injured during the collision.
