One person has been transported to hospital following a crash in Hughes this evening.

At approximately 6.30pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash on the Yarra Glen off ramp to Carruthers Street.

An ACT Emergency Services Agency spokesperson said two persons were treated at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and one was transported to hospital in a stable condition.

Carruthers Street was blocked east bound on the overpass for more than an hour until the scene was cleared.

ACT Policing were also in attendance.
