A man has died following a crash in Yarralumla on Thursday afternoon (22 July 2021).

Just after 1pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash on Hopetoun Circuit near the intersection of Hampton Circuit.

An ACT Emergency Services spokesperson said ACT Ambulance paramedics assessed and treated an elderly man at the scene and he was transported to hospital in a serious condition.

Unfourtuently the man passed away in hospital on Saturday 24th July 2021.

ACT Policing’s Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team is investigating the circumstances of the incident, and a report will be prepared for the ACT Coroner.

Hopetoun Circuit was closed for several hours on Thursday while investigations were carried out, the road has since being reopened.
