One person has been seriously injured following a crash in Braddon this morning.

Just after 10am ACT Emergency Services responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Batman and Doonkuna streets.

One person suffered significant injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to hospital by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics.

The road was closed for more than an hour while police investigated the scene and the area was made safe.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the collision are continuing and police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
