A cyclist has been transported to hospital following a collision with a vehicle on Canberra Avenue this evening.

Just before 6pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports a cyclist had been hit by a car in Symonston.

An ACT Emergency Services Agency spokesperson said one person was treated at the scene and transported to hospital in a stable condition.

The road was partially closed Eastbound while police investigated the scene.
