A man has died following a single vehicle collision in Farrer this morning.

At approximately 6.45am ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash on Erindale Drive between Sulwood Road and Long Gully Road.

Despite the efforts of onlookers, police officers, ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Ambulance Service Paramedics, the man was declared deceased at the scene. 

The Northbound lanes of Erindale Drive were closed for a number of hours while police investigated the scene.  

Police are seeking dashcam footage from any vehicle that was driving on Erindale Drive, between Sulwood Drive and Long Gully Road, after 9:30pm AEDT on Saturday 2 April 2022 and before 3:10am AEST on Sunday 3 April 2022.

An ACT Policing spokesperson said police are not treating the crash as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
