A 32-year-old man is expected to face court following an alleged drink driving collision on Gundaroo drive on Wednesday night.

At about 11.30pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash on Gundaroo drive between Owen Dixon Drive and Baldwin Drive.

It's believed the driver crashed into a guard rail at the location and then proceeded to drive several hundred meters on Gundaroo Drive before coming to a stop.

Upon arrival police conducted a roadside breath analysis which produced a reading of 0.172.

The man was served with an immediate suspension notice and he is scheduled to appear in ACT Magistrates in October.
