Man trapped for several hours following crash on Corin Road overnight

The Driver of a utility has been found trapped in his vehicle following a crash on Corin Road overnight.

Just before 6am, a man was riding up Corin Road and came across a utility down an embankment with a man trapped inside.

Emergency services were called but due to the remote nature of the crash, it took some time for their arrival.

Upon their arrival the vehicle was stabilised and the man was extricated from the vehicle by ACT Fire and Rescue using hydraulic tools.

He was then treated on scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and transported to hospital in a stable condition.

An ACT Policing spokesperson said 'Investigations are continuing to confirm the circumstances including the actual time of the collision.'
