A man has being transported to hospital following crash in Hume this morning.

At about 8.30am, ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a car and motorcycle crash at the intersection of the Monaro Highway and Lanyon Drive.

The male motorcyclist was treated at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and transported to hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Monaro Highway was closed for several hours while emergency services were in attendance.

ACT Policing’s Major Collision Team attended the incident and have commenced an investigation into the crash.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage of the collision, or the area around the time of the collision.
