One person has been transported to hospital following a high speed rollover south of Canberra overnight.

At approximately 9.30pm (12th July 2023), ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash on the Monaro Highway in Royalla.

Upon arrival, they located two vehicles. One of which sustained significant damage after it had rolled ending up down an embankment.

The driver of that vehicle was treated at the scene and transported to hospital, the occupants of the other vehicle did not require transport to hospital.

The highway was partially closed for several hours and contraflow was in place until the scene was cleared.

ACT Policing were in attendance, the cause of the crash is under investiagtion.
