ACT Policing have charged a 92-year-old man following the death of a 92-year-old woman in Fisher.  

About 2.40pm today (Monday, 31 July 2023), police were called to a residence in Fisher after a care worker on a scheduled visit located the deceased woman in the home.  

A 92-year-old man who is known to the woman has been taken into custody and has subsequently being charged with murder.

Police do not believe any other person was involved in the matter and there is no threat to the community.

Investigations are ongoing, and police are expected to remain at the residence for some time.
