The driver of a truck has escaped serious injury after it rolled over in Belconnen this afternoon.

At about 1pm, ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a truck crash on William Hovell Drive near the intersection of Bindubi Street.

An ACT ESA spokesperson said the driver of the truck was assessed by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics but did not require transport to hospital.

The road was partially closed in both directions for several hours until the scene was cleared.

ACT Policing were also in attendance and are investigating the crash.
