The occupant of a vehicle has escaped with only minor injuries following a crash in O'Connor overnight.

At approximately 8.30pm ACT Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash on Dryandra Street.

Upon arrival they located a car on the side of the road which had collided with a power pole.

ACT Ambulance Service paramedics assessed one person at the scene and transported him to hospital in a stable condition.

ACT Policing were also in attendance and are investigating the crash.
