A 57-year-old man has been located after a multi-day search by more then 60 Emergency Service Personnel.

The man went missing during the early hours of Thursday morning when he was last seen leaving a surgical ward at The Canberra Hospital, sparking a large scale search of the surrounding area.

Information received from the public assisted in locating the man safe and well in Downer, ACT.
