Firefighters have extinguished a garage fire in Macgregor.

At about 2.30pm ACT Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a structure fire on Berne Crescent.

Upon arrival they located fire in the roof space of a double garage.

Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the fire to prevent any further damage and the fire was contained to the garage itself.

There were no reports of injuries.

ACT Policing and ACT Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
